Pigeon Key Foundation & Marine Science Center

Take the ferry over to Pigeon Key, a 5-acre island, crossing under the 7-mile bridge, and explore where the Flagler railroad workers lived. Here you can see many mementos from the railroads construction including a restored home where several families lived, which is now the museum, and parts of buildings built back in 1909 that housed more than 400 workers. See old postcards, maps, models and a display model of the 7-mile bridge that shows how it was built. You can spend an hour or a day here and even snorkel the tidal shoreline. Guided tours depart the visitor's center on Knights Key at 10AM, 11:30AM, 1PM & 2:30PM and note that the last departure from Pigeon Key is at 4PM.
