Islamorada Dive Center

Islamorada Dive Center is a PADI certified shop that offers both 2-tank dives, 1 tank night dives, spearfishing and snorkel trips. These trips accommodate all levels of divers and snorkelers although, if you are more experienced, you may want to make sure you are booked on a dive only boat that will hit the better and deeper sites. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating with excellent customer service and never an overcrowded boat. Great dive sites for snorkelers include Hens & Chickens, with a dive depth of 10'-20', perfect for enjoying all the beautiful colors of the brain and star coral mounds, Fish Bowl & Aquarium, at 25'-30' deep, with thousands of tropical fish and Cheeca Rocks, 6'-20' deep, with beautiful coral gardens, sea fans and many colorful fish. For scuba divers, sites include the Secret Garden where at 25' you feel like you are swimming through a beautiful garden, Crocker Reef, 35'-60' deep, with turtles and coral mounds and for the more experienced divers, The Eagle, at 75'-110' deep, where a 287' freighter was sunk in 1985 and is home to many goliath groupers.
