Fantasy Fest Key West – A Wild & Crazy Halloween

Where else would you find “The Battle of Bone Island, a burlesque style battle to save Key West from evil, a wet & wild pool party, a Fantasy Fest Pet ParadeHeaddress ball, a masquerade pet parade (after all your pet needs some fun time too), a Redneck Party held at Lazy Gecko, back to the 60’s Flower Power Party at Schooner Wharf, a Blacklight party at Coyote Ugly for their first glow-in-the-dark extravaganza, costume contests at Smokin Tuna Saloon and Fogartys, bikini contests at Sunset Pier, a lively pool party at Dantes with center stage a reality in the center of the pool, a Toga Party at Sloppy Joe’s, the Monster Ball at Green Parrot Bar, a Pajama Party at Mangoes, a Pirate Bash at Rum Barrel and the one and only Fantasy Fest Parade as over 70,000 people dance their way down Duval Street with floats, marching bands and plenty of cavorting.

Fantasy Fest ParadeThe weather is always beautiful in paradise so leave your inhibitions behind and come celebrate with the Conchs for 10 wacky, fun-filled days. The party starts on October 19th with the opening of the Goombay Festival held in the Bahama Village. This festival runs through Saturday and features family friendly fun in a street party atmosphere.  Imaginative, off-the-Fantasy Fest Parade wall and risqué activities continue all week throughout Key West in local restaurants, bars and hotels and culminates on Saturday, October 27th, with the big Fantasy Fest Parade down Duval Street. Dress up in your favorite costume or get it painted on, grab a drink and be as wacky and crazy as you like.  After all, this fantasy happens only once a year.
