No Name Pub

A charming, cool and totally fun off the beaten track place that you just have to stop in if traveling through the keys. Started back in 1931 as a general store and tackle shop, the owners had to eventually add on an eatery in an effort to attract more business. This eatery was dubbed The Pub. It became the perfect stop for travelers where the ladies could shop in the general store, the men in the bait and tackle shop and then both would adjourn to The Pub for a beer and something to eat. In the 1950’s, they closed all but the Pub and added No Name to the title and it has been that way ever since. Stop in and have a few cold ones, order up a pizza, play a little pool and take a look at all the dollar bills hanging on the ceiling and walls (this started back in the 70’s & 80’s when there was a lot of illegal money passing through the Keys- they had so much they started hanging it on the walls). Don't forget to add your own dollar bill to the wall to leave your own little piece of history. Note: Please drive slow as this is Key Deer area and very pleniful in the area. Tip: If you are there in the daylight take a left out of the parking lot and over Humpback Bridge and see the Key Deer Reserve.
